Many young people waste their time by falling into the pleasures of the world.
Older people seek comfort and think about how they will live a peaceful life during their old age. They do not believe in dreams anymore.
They think that dreams drift along through the flow of years. It is like a fish drifting comfortable down the flow of water rather than going against it. However when the Spirit of the Lord comes, we live a new life. Everyone dreams about God's dream. They see visions. These visions and dreams are Jesus's dreams.
Passage to read: Acts 2:1-21
17 “‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
Questions to think about:
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to be obedient with?
4. Write down your thankful prayer.
