As the Israelites question “where is God?” during the time of suffering God shows them that He has written their names on the palm of His hands and that He will never forget them. And He tells them that the things that are tormenting them and making them desolate will go away.
We have to lift up our eyes and see what the Lord is doing and trust in God’s promise of restoration and love.
Isaiah 49:14-26
15 “Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child?
Can she feel no love for the child she has borne?
But even if that were possible,
I would not forget you!
16 See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.
Always in my mind is a picture of Jerusalem’s walls in ruins.
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2.What is God’s message to me?
3.What do I need to be obedient to?
4.Write a list of thankful prayer points today.
