Satan's greatest temptation to humans from the very beginning was 'You are the master of your own life'. God will not forget those who deny him and is prideful by thinking that they are the master of their own life. Even now Satan tries to make us fall by tempting us to deny God and become the master of our own lives. There is no other God besides our God.
I want to meditate on this every day and every second.
"What would Jesus have done?"
"What would Jesus have done?"
I hope you hold onto God who is our master.
Passage to read; Isaiah 47:1-15
4 Our Redeemer—the Lord Almighty is his name—
is the Holy One of Israel.
5 “Sit in silence, go into darkness,
queen city of the Babylonians;
no more will you be called
queen of kingdoms.
6 I was angry with my people
and desecrated my inheritance;
I gave them into your hand,
and you showed them no mercy.
Even on the aged
you laid a very heavy yoke.
7 You said, ‘I am forever—
the eternal queen!’
But you did not consider these things
or reflect on what might happen.
Questions to think about:
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to be obedient with?
4. Write down your thankful prayer.
