You cannot compare anything in this world to God. God made all the things in the world and all that breathes. He reigns over everything.
God comes into our lives and guides us like a shepherd. In front of him, all of our big and small problems and worries, the question of 'can he really solve it' becomes a foolish behaviour.
In our life without faith, small and big problems seem like big mountains, however with faith, we are able to see God moving mountains.
Passage to read: Isaiah 40:9-17
12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand,
or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens?
Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket,
or weighed the mountains on the scales
and the hills in a balance?
13 Who can fathom the Spirit[d] of the Lord,
or instruct the Lord as his counselor?
14 Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten him,
and who taught him the right way?
Who was it that taught him knowledge,
or showed him the path of understanding?
Questions to think about:
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to be obedient with?
4. Write down your thankful prayer.
