How would you feel if you were rejected by those you loved and trusted?
Paul treated the people of the Corinthian church with sincere love but what he received in return was rejection.
Despite suffering from severe pain both internally and outwardly, Paul continued to love them.
In fact, he embraced them with desperation to make them workers of Christ even though they had misunderstandings about him and rejected him. This was because they were his spiritual children reborn through the gospel taught by him.
Passage: 2 Corinthians 11:16-33
11 Why? Because I do not love you? God knows I do!
28 Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches.
29 Who is weak, and I do not feel weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn?
30 If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
