If you go inside a dark cave, you can not see anything because of the darkness. It is because of the limitations of our eyes. We can only see within the visible rays. But we are able to see if we had infrared glasses. The dark caves might look blurred but we will be able to see. Likewise we also have limitations in realising the truth. The misunderstandings and prejudices makes it difficult for us to distinguish the truth correctly. Even when we’re reading the Word. But the Spirit of the Lord opens our eyes. Our eyes are opened and the Word of truth becomes known to us.
Passage: 2 Corinthians 3:12-18
15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. 16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
