Paul suffered extreme sufferings because of the gospel. He even lost his hope to live. However, God's comfort was greater than his sufferings. Suffering is a time to learn how to trust God. Those who have experienced God's comfort in the midst of suffering become a true path of comfort.
Passage to read: 2 Corinthians 1:1-11
6 If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer.
7 And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.
8 We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters,[a] about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself.

1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to be obedient with?
4. Write down your thankful prayer.
