All body parts have a different function and role. Likewise, the Holy Spirit has given each person different gifts, roles and capacities to form one body. There is no one in the church who is worthless or is not needed. We are just all different. Therefore, we must not criticise or reject others because our hearts are different. We must unite and complement each other.
Passage to read: 1 Corinthians 12:12-20
14 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.
15 Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body.
18 But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.
Questions to think about:
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to be obedient with?
4. Write down your thankful prayer.
