When we are passing through the wilderness of life, we often struggle to sleep comfortably due to the frustration of reality and fear of the unknown future. During the sleepless nights, the psalmist praises God and deeply meditates on His mercy and protection. At that moment, all worries and fears disappear and he is left with the valuable experience of intimacy with God. Let us read and mediate on the Word of God like the psalmist.
Passage: Psalm 63:1-11
1 You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.
2 I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and your glory.
4 I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods;
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.
6 On my bed I remember you;
I think of you through the watches of the night.
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2.What is God’s message to me?
3.What do I need to be obedient to?
4.Write a list of thankful prayer points today.
