God loved the Israelites. He saved the Israelites from slavery, led their lives during their 40 years in the wilderness and protected them.
God loved them.
But, the people did not obey to God' words.
There is a children's book called 'A magpie who returned a favour'. It is about a magpie who does not forget the man who fixed his legs and returns the grace. We have received so much grace from God. There will be no one who can say that they have not received any grace. It would be disobeying God if we only have head knowledge of God's word and do not live it out with our lives. That would mean who do not know about his grace.
God loves us.
Before starting the day, I hope you all think about God's love. Restore God's grace and live a thankful life.
Amos 2:6-16
9.“Yet I destroyed the Amorites before them,
though they were tall as the cedars
and strong as the oaks.
I destroyed their fruit above
and their roots below.
10 I brought you up out of Egypt
and led you forty years in the wilderness
to give you the land of the Amorites.
11 “I also raised up prophets from among your children
and Nazirites from among your youths.
Is this not true, people of Israel?”
declares the Lord.
Questions to think about:
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to be obedient with?
Write down your thankful prayer.
