One of the reasons why Edom was punished was because they were consistently angry. We may think that getting easily angered is not much of a deal and may only be a flaw in their personality, however Remember that God is not happy with this. For those who are easily angered or has kept anger inside of them for a long time, we must ask for God’s help to live a victorious life.
Passage to read Amos 1:1-12
11.This is what the Lord says: “For three sins of Edom, even for four, I will not relent. Because he pursued his brother with a sword and slaughtered the women of the land, because his anger raged continually and his fury flamed unchecked,”
12. I will send fire on Teman that will consume the fortresses of Bozrah.
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
