          • 2026 Oceania Singles United Camp Reflection (Shepherd Chun Do Oh)

The 3rd Oceania Singles United Camp was held. To attend the camp, some flew in while others drove as long as 12 hours, with about 180 people gathering together. We would like to share a post written on Facebook by Shepherd Chun Do Oh, who visited as a speaker for the camp.

I am at the Oceania Singles United Camp site near Sydney, Australia. Although I was tired due to the flight that arrived early in the morning, I was able to overcome my fatigue because of three amazing impressions.
            1. It was my visit to Sydney Crystal Church. The young single’s shepherds preparing for this camp are incredibly mature—kind, diligent, and pure. Their parents must have been very busy with immigrant life and house church ministry, yet I am amazed at how well they raised their children in faith. The sparkle in their eyes drove away my fatigue.
            2. I was astonished to see this vibrant, living church filled with young people, the sound of babies crying, children running around, and a multicultural congregation gathering for the third service. Among the immigrant churches I have seen recently, this was the most energetic. It is truly a church that is experiencing revival—spreading the gospel and raising disciples. Not only that, it is growing into a church that supports other churches. My heart is pounding as I witness such an incredible church.
            3. Last year, more than 600 young people gathered at a conference in Korea where there was very passionate worship, greatly supported by a professional praise team. But here, the worship was led by a team made up of single’s shepherds—and it was even more passionate. Watching them jump and praise God made me think that we should provide more space and opportunity for them to worship the Lord and live for Him even more. In their busy and often lacking season of youth, instead of becoming discouraged or giving up, they came here to learn how to serve even one person around them. I believe they need time and space like this to freely run, cry out to God, and worship Him wholeheartedly.
I prayed that these young shepherds and shepherds’ partners—who are fluent in both English and Korean and who love the House Church—would be used to spread the House Church ministry even to distant places like Africa.
