This is the final Sunday of 2025. Throughout this year, we have pressed on holding firmly to the promise of God’s Word: “So I will do to you the very thing I heard you say” (Numbers 14:28). At times, our circumstances brought challenges to our relationships and ministries. Yet, your holy struggle to choose the language of faith and to sow gratitude bore beautiful fruit in the church, in our house churches, and in your personal lives.
We are deeply thankful that we have now reached 50 young-adult and adult house churches. In addition, shepherds for the next generation have been established 10 youth house churches and 14 children’s house churches. These are precious fruits of your devoted efforts for both horizontal and vertical soul-winning. We also remember the passionate moments during the Corporate worship services, when many came forward to the pulpit to commit to living according to God’s Word; the fervent prayers that filled the main hall at every Wednesday prayer meeting; and the many Life Bible Studies—all unforgettable and beautiful scenes. As lay ministers took ownership of house church and joint ministries, and as children and youth grew in the Word, we caught a glimpse of the bright future of our church.
Beyond the visible fruits, we give heartfelt thanks for your “invisible hands.” Just as flowers require the unseen labour of roots to bloom, the growth of Sydney Crystal Church has been made possible by your hidden service and sacrifice. To the unsung servants who quietly laboured in the most unseen corners of the church, without name or recognition—because of your unseen sacrifices, our united church has been able to grow in such a beautiful way.
I also bow my head in gratitude to the shepherds and shepherds’ partners of our 50 house churches, to our lay ministers who serve for the sake of the united church, and to all the members—thank you for trusting this servant, honouring pastoral authority, and supporting the ministry through prayer.
May God, who responds even to our smallest groans and works far beyond what we think or imagine, be with you in even greater grace in the coming new year—upon your families, your house churches, and your workplaces. I offer this blessing and prayer with all my heart.

As we approach the year-end and the New Year, we pray that God’s abundant grace will be upon your families, workplaces, and every area of your lives.
