This week, we will be relocating the Pastoral Office. The current Pastoral Office is located behind the main hall. The new location will be inside the Tree of Life Hall, in the space that was previously used as the Preschool Room. The Preschool ministry has now moved to the newly created Dream Hub (Olive Tree).
We have always been thankful just to have a space for pastoral care and ministry. In the midst of ongoing space limitations and requests from multiple departments, we wrestled with whether it was right to relocate only the Pastoral Office. However, with more visitors coming, and because the current office allows sound from the worship hall to carry through on Sundays, it has become an unsuitable space for meetings with newcomers or other church members. As a result, we have decided to relocate.
The new Pastoral Office will be used for various ministry activities including meetings with guest speakers, newcomers, Receiving Jesus meetings, shepherd/shepherd’s partner meetings, and pastoral counselling. We also plan to resume the time of prayer with deacons and service leaders before Sunday worship, which we were unable to do due to space limitations.
The current office behind the main hall will be allocated to the Worship Ministry, to store worship equipment and church supplies. Although the space is small, with proper organization, it could also serve as a meeting area for small groups.
Painting of the new Pastoral Office began last week, thanks to the dedicated service of Shepherd Park Suk Kyun. A desk will be placed in the back corner, and a long bookshelf will be installed along the wall facing the fellowship room to help with sound insulation. We also plan to place a large table near the entrance for meetings. If you have good ideas or would like to help with setting up the space, please let me know.
The education departments using the Dream Hub building also began setting up their spaces last week. While everyone is doing their best to use the limited space efficiently, space shortage continues to be a challenge on Sundays. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as we strive to use the available space wisely.

Registration for the second half of the year’s Life Bible Study begins this week.
