A short-term volunteer mission trip to Dumaguete Philippines
The Philippines Mokjang is going on a short-term volunteer mission trip to Blessing Church in Dumaguete Philippines from 3rd to 10th December (8 days). Blessing Church in Dumaguete is a House Church started eight years ago by missionary Park Sunggook and his family. There are currently three adultmokjangs and six singles mokjangs, and just last month, we heard the good news that another mokjang had multiplied. The short-term volunteer mission team is comprised of eleven members, including a child, students, singles and adults. The reason I have decided to join them is because I have always wanted to visit this House Church which the locals attend, after hearing of its positive influence it's had on local churches in the Philippines. Missionary Park Sunggook and his wife’s love for souls is already well known and has been aired on CTS in Korea. This mission trip is slightly different from our past trips. Our focus in the past was to visit the mission fields, comfort the missionaries, and offer them help, but this trip’s focus is on the VIP event that is going to be held on Sunday. During our time there, we will visit a school to share the gospel, evangelise on the streets, and prepare for the VIP event. We will also be visiting mokjang leaders and participate in their gatherings. We have prepared for the VIP event, a puppet show for the children, performances for the guests, and sermons, etc.I would like to ask everyone, as we continue with our 123 prayer,to include our mission trip in your prayers as this will be a great support for us. Please join in our prayer as we pray for “soul salvation during the VIP event, for all eleven members who have committed to this trip to be used as God’s tools and for them to experience God’s grace throughout the trip”.
This week’s message
The 123 prayer continues this week. Please pray for the Philippines Dumaguete Mission Team as well.
