          • How to evangelise through mokjang 2

Following on from last week, I'd like to share pastor Choi Younggi's 'Evangelising in our mokjang' on how we can save souls through our mokjangs.
Thirdly, We must prepare ourselves and wait for God to send us VIPs.
We must become a mokjang God can entrust his souls with. There are two characteristics of mokjangs in which soul salvation frequently occurs. First, the mokjang must serve as one and touch those they serve. Secondly, they experience answers to specific prayers. People are not convinced through logic. You may think you can't afford to do anything to touch others in your current circumstances but people are impressed through the service of those who don't have than those who do. When you give when you have a lot to give, they may feel grateful but not be as touched by your kind gesture. Serving others despite lack of money, health or time can in fact be a tool to genuinely touch others.
When we pray in our mokjangs, we must pray for things that can be answered in the near future rather than for long-term prayer topics. And the mokja must ask everyone if their prayer topics from the previous week have been answered and build anticipation for everyone. More prayers are answered when we pray in anticipation.
Fourthly, we must aim to make disciples. The purpose of a mokjang is not soul salvation but making disciples. Our goal must be to guide our VIPs and have them become a leader of their own mokjang. When a VIP accepts Jesus, there are two things we ought to teach them. First is responsibility and second is service. Mokjang gatherings should not only be held at the mokja's home but all members must try and host at their homes as well. Meeting only at the mokja's home not only prevents mokjang members from learning how to serve others, it also prevents them from experiencing the joy of serving Jesus and receiving rewards. If they are unable to cook for others, mokja can help by bringing food but still meeting at different mokjang members' homes each week. We can earnestly pray for one another and treat one another as family when we have been to each other's homes. Also, mokjas should guide their mokjang members to be involved in church and mokjang ministries and help them build a sense of responsibility as well as their faith in order to become a disciple.
