          • To experience a never-drying spring

There was once a small spring in a village, and because of its tasty water, everyone in the village came to drink from it. However, the stingy owner of the spring put a fence around it so only he could have it. After six months, and then a year, the water gradually dried up until it was completely gone. The owner did not know that the spring water had to be constantly emptied for it to be filled again. Stagnant water eventually rots, whereas running water doesn’t. This is the law of nature.
In order for us to experience blessings like a never-drying spring, we must continually train ourselves of two things.
First is training ourselves to give first. God thoroughly trains us to give first. He trains us to give back to Him the first of our crops, to give thank offerings after harvest, and trains us to give a tenth of our income and tells us, “Test me in this and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” (Malachi 3:10)
Second is training to share. Extreme poverty is a problem everywhere in the world with a billion people going to bed without food to eat every single day. 1.3 billion people live on less than $1 a day and 34,000 children die of starvation and diseases every day. Unless those who have, give, the problem of poverty will not end. Jesus promises, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.” (Luke 6:38)
We believe that God will bless us. Let us experience His blessings like a never-drying well, by being the first to give and to share.
