The 522nd house church seminar for lay people came to an end full of God’s grace and all 33 participants pledged to become a mokjang leader which made the event all the more joyful. We anticipate each and every person returning to their church and fulfilling their duties in building a church that Jesus wants us to build.
Through the seminar, I feel our church has grown a lot.
I was greatly moved by people’s devotion and service in places both seen and unseen.
As I was coming out of the building after a lecture, someone called me over and showed me something. They were ‘handmade cupcakes’. They were made of various shapes of flowers and I was amazed at how intricately they were made. It had taken one of our church sisters three days to make them. The seminar participants were also extremely impressed and said they looked too good to eat. The handmade cupcakes represents everyone who made sacrifice and dedication for the seminar. The devotion and effort they poured into hosting our participants…
The seminar review on the church website made me and my wife very emotional and the review seemed to represent the thoughts of everyone that had attended. The review said that they were deeply moved by the love they were shown by the hosts, going out of their way and giving them their master bedroom and serving them the best way possible in their modest homes.
Once a seminar is finished, there are a lot of stories of people discovering joy in serving others, and I ask that you share your thoughts and stories on the church website. I am proud of our church and am grateful to be ministering with such beautiful people at a beautiful church. I am confident God will reward you with heavenly rewards and blessings. I love you and God bless you.
