I have summarised once again three things mokjas and moknyos need in order for them to gain energy, and not become weary.
First, they must set rules for their own growth. Unless mokjang moims have rules of their own, it becomes difficult for members to think and act as one. Likewise, when mokjang leaders set rules and show that they are self-disciplined, their members are able to have faith in them and follow.
Second is experiencing fruits of salvation. When souls are saved in mokjangs, the leaders are motivated. It’s important for every mokjang to select five VIPs and pray for them during each mokjang meeting to focus on saving lost souls. Mokjangs without VIPs and without focus on saving soul will become repetitive and mundane, and the mokjang becomes weak.
Thirdly, mokjang members’ cooperation and transformation is important. Mokjang leaders find it most difficult when mokjang members do not seem to change or open up. They become discouraged when members re not interested in their problems and this can be the case when there is no trust between them and there is a problem in their relationship. In this situation, sacrificial prayer and service is required of the mokjang leaders.
Every time I am faced with a challenge in my ministry, one thing I realize is that I cannot do this on my own. Winning someone’s heart, loving someone, is not in my control, and I need the help of the Spirit. So I fast and pray for the Spirit to work in me, and once the Spirit is within me, I am able to see what the problem is. The Spirit pours love into my heart, and allows spiritual vision to see beyond the problems. If you, as a leader are experiencing challenges, you need to experience God. Fast and pray a sacrificial prayer, and you will most definitely see God at work in your mokjang.
