Last week, I was at a singles retreat at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Brisbane, and I also preached in the Sunday service. Bethel Presbyterian Church was a large church with about 250 members. I shared the grace of God throughout my stay, and prayed that the church would become a central house church in Brisbane.
The seminar we held last year at our church, the one at new life church and also the one in Brisbane all have allowed churches to become more passionate than ever in saving lost souls and it has made me realize once again what a difference church seminars make.
After the seminar, our family went to the Gold Coast for a holiday. My son had searched and booked a holiday apartment by the ocean and the view overlooking the ocean and the city was just amazing.
During our stay in the Gold Coast, we visited Gwang Woo Jin and his wife Jiyeon and didn’t leave till 2am. They told us that after they left Sydney, they realized how happy they were at Crystal Church and how much they missed us.
The next day, we drove for about two hours to pay a short visit to Hyunha Hwang and his wife Mihee’s family. Our stay was shorter than we would have liked, but my two children had to remind me that we were on a holiday and not here to do ministry so I switched on my holiday mode and we went fishing, to the Movie World and Sea World, had really good food and slept in…my holiday helped me realize once again how important family holidays are, and I want to thank our church and all its members for their support in my absence.
