Jesus was the subject of God's favour.
And we have all become children of God by being in the Lord. Therefore, we, like the Lord, must become the subject of God's favour. To be like this, we must become more like Jesus.
I hope that our lives today can become lives that seeks Jesus' heart and the Jesus’ character in order to become a child God is pleased with.
Passage to read: Luke 3:21-38
21 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened
22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”
