Contentment refers to having satisfaction in our hearts. Believers must have content hearts, and lives, through the Lord alone.
Paul once confessed that the 'secret to contentment' is relying on the Lord. “I can do all things through him who gives me strength.” (Phil 4:13)
We, too, can enjoy life to the fullest. By knowing to be grateful for what has been given, having no regrets for what we don't possess, and not coveting what others have.
I hope that we too will be grateful for the life we have been given and become believers who experience contentment.
Passage to read: 1 Timothy 6:1-10
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.
8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
