'Kiss his son' means to acknowledge and receive Jesus Christ as the King of your lives, to love him, to be loyal to him and to obey him, just as the servants kiss the feet of the king as a sign of loyalty and obedience. Those who go before the Lord in this way will live as people of God's kingdom.
In this way, I hope that we can live a life that walks the steps of faith, ‘kissing his son’, rather than just living as Christians through words.
Passage: Psalm 2:1-12
11 Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling.
12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
