Those who follow Jesus Christ have a responsibility to always care for and meet the needs of those who are spiritually and physically hungry.
The Lord is saying to us today, “you give them something to eat.” This means to share food with those who are physically hungry and share the Gospel with those who are spiritually hungry.
I hope that we can live a life of looking around and filling the needs of those around us with service.
Passage: Matthew 14:13-21
14 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick. 15 As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.” 16 Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
