Am I influencing others positively and setting an example through my life?
Suggesting to others to live right and teaching them ‘how the Lord wants us to live’ is not done through speech nor through ‘authority or position’, but through ‘how you live’.
If you are pointing out someone’s ‘idleness’, you must display ‘diligence’.
If you want to tell someone to ‘pray’, you yourself must have traces of God working in your life through your prayer.
I deeply meditate whether this is shown in my life.
As Jesus was a model for us, I pray that we too can set an example for those around us.
Passage: 2 Thessalonians 3:6~18
7 For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you,
8 nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you.
9 We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate.
