Paul tells the members of the Thessalonian church to stay away from all sexual sins. The way to overcome this is to love your wife with all respect. Even those who are not yet married must keep themselves holy for their future spouse. A prayer pastor Young Gi Chai never ceased to pray about is for the members of the church and housechurch to not fall in the temptation of cheating.
We need to protect our housechurch and church members with holiness. Because if someone goes off track the whole community suffers together.
God’s will is for us to be sanctified.
1 Thessalonians 4:1-8
3 It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality;
4 that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable,
5 not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God;
6 and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before.
