The root of all humanly problems comes from one thing. That is from sin. Like Paul, we confess that “I am a wretched man”. This is because of the sin that is living in me. The only way to become free from sin is through Jesus Christ. When I confess my sins and believe in Jesus, who died on the cross and rose again for sinners like me, I get to experience the amazing grace of forgiveness. Now, I have died to sin and live a new life through Jesus Christ.
Passage to read: Romans 7:7-25
18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.
19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.
20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
