          • When mokjang leaders feel hurt

Mokjang leaders feel a sense of happiness and fulfillment with their mokjang ministry but they are also hurt at times. Mokjang leaders feel joy when they have a new VIP, when their mokjang member is baptized, when their mokjang members acknowledge their leadership, when they help with food preparation for gatherings, when they are touched by small things, etc. When mokjang leaders are happy, it also makes me happy.
There are also a few common things that upset mokjang leaders, such as when they’ve been serving for a long time but their mokjang members don’t change. It’s also when they take their kindness towards them for granted, or when they won’t accept their apology when they’ve made a mistake. Additionally, when they have been misunderstood or their mokjang members leave their mokjang can upset them.
However, mokjang leaders understand that it’s natural for them to encounter disappointments because they know that people are evangelized through mokjangs only through the love they receive from their leaders. However, what can be more upsetting is when those who have been going to church for a long time also treat their mokjang leaders this way.
It is naturally for people to mature as they grow. And the proof that we are maturing in our character is through our obedience and service. Children are looked after by their parents, but as they grow, they are able to eat on their own, make their own bed, and do things by themselves. And if they’re older, they help their parents with housework. And once fully grown, they in turn look after their elderly parents.
Spiritual maturity is the same. At the initial stage of faith, mokjang leaders will serve you unilaterally, but as your time at church increases, you should become their co-worker of faith and serve together. This is normal, and those who, despite having attended church for years still expect their mokjang leaders to serve them, are spiritually impaired, who have stopped growing.

            This week’s message
Asking for prayer takes faith. If you’d like to request prayer during the Wednesday prayer service and to the intercessory prayer team, please write down ‘please pray for me’ on the commitment card and submit it on Sunday.
