None of Elihu’s words to Job were wrong. It means that if we sin before God, we will receive a punishment appropriate to that, and we must repent before the Almighty, and ask for forgiveness.
But with what right could Elihu says these words! Whom can he condemn! Didn’t Jesus say to the people who were going to judge the woman who committed adultery ‘If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her’!
We are all sinners. That is why Jesus came to this earth to save us from sin. He never came to judge sinners. Who am I to condemn others! We are all sinners.
Passage to read: Job 36:16-33
17 But now you are laden with the judgment due the wicked; judgment and justice have taken hold of you.
18 Be careful that no one entices you by riches; do not let a large bribe turn you aside. 19 Would your wealth or even all your mighty efforts sustain you so you would not be in distress?
