Job's suffering is so great that it is impossible to comprehend the depth, but we see that He is no longer shaken. He says that as long as he has life within him, he will tell the truth and not utter any lies. He will not succumb to injustice.
There is something I realise while meditating on Job's wilful commitment. It is that life must be interpreted through the Word for us to ultimately win. I pray that the Word can be interpreted in our lives to save our souls and not just understood with our knowledge or to give to others.
Passage to read: Job 27:1-12
3 as long as I have life within me, the breath of God in my nostrils,
4 my lips will not say anything wicked, and my tongue will not utter lies.
