Are you disappointed when you see people who live without God, succeed?
It is a sin to try and live without God. The essence of sin is that we become the ruler of ourselves, doing things our own way, to our own liking, and according to our own plans.
However, success that comes in the absence of God does not last forever. And this kind of success cannot but cease in one moment.
Let’s not be envious about these successes that come without God but strive for the blessings of God’s eternal kingdom that we will receive at last.
Passage to read: Job 21:1-16
14 Yet they say to God, ‘Leave us alone! We have no desire to know your ways.
15 Who is the Almighty, that we should serve him? What would we gain by praying to him?’
16 But their prosperity is not in their own hands, so I stand aloof from the plans of the wicked.
