Job says he did not deny the Word even in the midst of pain and affliction.
I am challenged by Job who did not go against God’s Word even when he was suffering immense pain. It reminds me that God is my only help and refuge when faced with reality so unbearable that I would rather die.
Let us lift our eyes to God’s plans, open our hearts and listen to others’ groans today.
Passage: Job 6:1-13
8 “Oh, that I might have my request, that God would grant what I hope for,
9 that God would be willing to crush me, to let loose his hand and cut off my life!
10 Then I would still have this consolation- my joy in unrelenting pain- that I had not denied the words of the Holy One.
