The priests could only go to God and worship Him by wearing sacred garments made as He had commanded.
When we go to God wearing these garments, God does not see our sinful nature, but sees the sacred garments we wear and judges us as righteous.
That garment is Jesus Christ, who died in our place to atone for our sins.
Therefore, believers must always remember that they are clothed with Jesus Christ and act accordingly.
I hope that we can live a life of pursuing holiness like those who have clothed themselves with Jesus Christ.
Passage to read: Exodus 39:1-21
1 From the blue, purple and scarlet yarn they made woven garments for ministering in the sanctuary. They also made sacred garments for Aaron, as the Lord commanded Moses.
2 They made the ephod of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and of finely twisted linen.
3 They hammered out thin sheets of gold and cut strands to be worked into the blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen—the work of skilled hands.
