During the 40 days Moses was in Mount Sinai with God, God writes the words of the covenant- the Ten Commandments.
Moses, who spoke with God, was not aware that his face was radiant.
Rather than looking emaciated after starving for 40 days, his face was shining with the light of glory.
Keeping God’s words close to us lights our path of life and breathes new life into our lives.
Passage: Exodus 34:27-35
28 Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.
29 When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord.
