Christians who do not pray:
1. Cannot guard their heart
If our hearts are filled with Jesus, we can overcome any temptation, but if we have 'two hearts', we will fall into the temptation.
2. Become lazy
We shouldn’t be sowing seeds when everyone else is ploughing.
A proper farmer sows seeds when it is time to sow, and harvests when it is time to harvest.
We shouldn’t postpone our tasks for another time.
3. Become distant with worship.
If we don't pray, we can't guard our heart, so we become lazy and eventually become distant from the Lord, leaving only a superficial form of worship.
Christians who do not pray are unable to guard their hearts, become lazy, and become distant from worship.
We must guard ourselves by being awake in prayer.
