Many people hear the gospel that Jesus Christ is the one who forgives our sins and is the one who will guide us to God's kingdom that has eternal life but they find it hard to believe in this and confess it with faith. Just like Peter's response to the question of "Who is Jesus?", the passage tells us that believing and confessing that Jesus is the Lord of our lives, our Saviour and the Son of the living God, is God's grace and the blessed life.
I hope that within our life's journey we can encounter the God who is still living today and who is working in many areas around us and that today will be a time where we can confess the same confession that Peter made to God.

15 "But what about you?" He asked. "Who do you say I am?"
16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God."
17 Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son ofJonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven."
