How to distinguish the difference between the fake and the real
The Lord tells us to watch out for the fake people. He tells us to be aware of false prophets and the false believers. How do you know if someone is fake? We can tell by their fruit. If you look at their lives, they bear bad fruit. Only bad fruits and thistles. They call out Lord, Lord with their mouths but their actions go against the law and they enter through the wide gate. They live for their own joy,greed and lust. Lives of the fake crumbles down when the flood hits them.
Then who is real? They are the people who hear and live out the Word. They obey the Word every day and their lives are full of good fruits.
Passage to read: Matthew 7:13-29
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
