Although Jesus was rejected by the people and the word when He died on the cross, He was chosen by God as living precious stone. To all those who accept Jesus as saviour and live as precious stones to be built with, they become God's holy temple and priests who worship Him. As holy temples, we are God's church and His glory wherever we go.
I hope that we worship God wherever we are and spread God's beautiful virtue, the gospel, as we live as God's holy people.
Passage to read: 1 Peter 2:1-10
4 As you come to him, the living Stone —rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him
5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
