Through the angel Gabriel, God tells Daniel about the vision he saw.
It was destruction of the Babylon Empire in God’s ‘appointed time’.
And the angel says to Daniel,
“This will surely happen in God’s time”
God has a time for everything in all areas of our lives.
We must trust God’s time and keep our faith.
Believers are those who seek ‘God’s time’ with patience and perseverance despite afflictions and suffering.
Just as ‘my thoughts are different to God’s’, let us endure another day in faith by remembering that ‘God’s time’ may also be different to ours.
Passage: Daniel 8:15~27
17 As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate. “Son of man,” he said to me, “understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.”
18 While he was speaking to me, I was in a deep sleep, with my face to the ground. Then he touched me and raised me to my feet.
19 He said: “I am going to tell you what will happen later in the time of wrath, because the vision concerns the appointed time of the end.
