A true believer trusts God who justifies ungodly people. God does not call us righteous after we have changed ourselves many times to become holy. He is the true God of grace who acknowledges and declares us righteous when we come out from the blood of Jesus on the cross. I hope our life is that of a true believer who gains righteousness from him.
Romans. 4; 1-8
3. What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
4. Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation.
5. However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.
