Anything you love more than God is an idol.
We sometimes love and rely more on our knowledge, experiences, and visible living conditions in life's problems.
But we can not dare compare it to God and the idols in our lives.
Because God is infinite and eternal, and is the only God who has absolute sovereignty over all things.
What we need is a faith that relies on and believes in the power of our God, incomparable to all idols in the world.
Isaiah 46:5-7
5 Who will you compare me to, and who will you like me to be? Who do you think I am like?
6 People pour gold out of their pockets, put silver on the scales, buy goldsmiths to make statues, and bow down to worship it.
7 When people put idols on their shoulders and put idols in place, the idols cannot stand and stand there. When people cry out to it, they do not respond at all, nor do they save the suffering.
1. Did you think about Jesus this morning?
2. What is God’s message to me?
3. What do I need to obey?
4. What are you thankful for?
