Righteousness means to have no fault or sin. Ironically, those in the Bible that are ‘righteous’ are not much different from others, conscientiously or ethically. In fact, some are worse in some aspects.
Despite this, the reason they were still considered ‘righteous’ was because of their ‘faith’ towards God. Every time they were faced with a decision, they didn’t choose their way but God’s. And this led them to have a ‘righteous’ life.
With the numerous choices you are faced with, please choose God’s ways rather than your own thoughts and ways. It will lead you to live a ‘righteous’ life.
Passage: Romans 1:8~17
16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
17 For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
