It is written that if an ox or a sheep that has any defect in it, God would be disgusting about them and they can not be a sacrifice. Defect or ill cows and sheep cannot be eaten, given as a prize, and as they may be contagious to animals living with them, will be killed. God said that if his people do evil things that are offensive to God's eyes and when they transmitted to wickedness, they are equally disgusted and killed.
We know ourselves well. We should repent to God, if we make flaws to ourselves by committing some sins repeatedly, being apart from God by worshipping other idols, or influencing neighbours with our sinful words or behaviours.
(Passage to read: Deuteronomy 17:1-13)
1. Do not sacrifice to the Lord your God an ox or a sheep that has any defect or flaw in it, for that would be detestable to him.
2. If a man or woman living among you in one of the towns the Lord gives you is found doing evil in the eyes of the Lord your God in violation of his covenant,
3. and contrary to my command has worshiped other gods, bowing down to them or to the sun or the moon or the stars in the sky,
