When Moses was explaining the abundance of the land of Cannan, he warned the Israelites to not be intoxicated by the richness of the land and forget God.
Humans have a tendency to naturally forget important events in their life as time goes by. But there is something we must always remember and never forget. This is God and the grace he has given us.
I hope we can live our life remembering and thanking this grace.
Deuteronomy 8:11-20
1 Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.
12 Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down,
13 and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied,
14 then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to obey?
4. What are your thankful for?
