In the Bible, Israelites’ repeated iniquities and disobedient to God led them to captivity. And they were frustrated and groaned with fallen Israel because of their sins. However, they experienced to be stood up over and over against their destruction.
The secret they were able to be raised up again is restoration of their role and the leaders. Despite of so much despair, God raised up Israel several times through the leaders God had chosen. God was awakening the Israelites to their forgotten role and mission through the leaders. If leaders are fallen, all the people can be fallen.
Devils try to devastate God’s leaders constantly by any means necessary. We need to pray and protect them not to fall again. Once leaders fail, rest of them can fail as well.
1 Chronicles 7:1~9:34
31 Those who were musicians, heads of Levite families, stayed in the rooms of the temple and were exempt from other duties because they were responsible for the work day and night.
34 All these were heads of Levite families, chiefs as listed in their genealogy, and they lived in Jerusalem.
