          • Restore the fallen temple

I think there is a lot of spiritual definition in the reconstruction of a fallen temple. This could be our faith, our lives, this world or even a service we gave.
Instead of just looking at it, we need to reconstruct (restore) the fallen temple.

In today’s passage Haggai talks about our purity needed to restore the temple. Hence if we are not clean before God, everything will become impure and cannot be restored.
This is why we need to stand upright before God.
I think right now is the time.

From tomorrow, we cannot have a service with the whole congregation at church due to the new laws upon the coronavirus, but I hope that all that is broken can be restored through this time.
I hope that we may all be able to experience restoration in every aspect of our lives, including service, house church, family, church, faith, life and relationships.
For this to happen, we need to rely more on Jesus.
I believe that we need to trust more in His word, and step closer to Him.
When we are like this, I believe Jesus will be with us.

            Passage: Haggai 2:10-23

11 “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Ask the priests what the law says:
12 If someone carries consecrated meat in the fold of their garment, and that fold touches some bread or stew, some wine, olive oil or other food, does it become consecrated?’ ” The priests answered, “No.”
13 Then Haggai said, “If a person defiled by contact with a dead body touches one of these things, does it become defiled?” “Yes,” the priests replied, “it becomes defiled.”

            1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?

            2. What is God’s message to me?

            3. What do I need to obey?

            4. Write a list of thankful prayer points.
