We Christians have joy that the world cannot offer. It’s the joy of the Kingdom of God, an everlasting promise that will be given us. When the Kingdom comes, we will forget all the pain we suffered in this world and never look back at the tears and suffering.
Our reality now may be painful, but when this all passes, what awaits us is the Kingdom of God, which can’t be taken away from us.
Let us once again hold on to the everlasting promise of the Kingdom of God and overcome whatever circumstances we face today.
Passage: John 16:16-24
21 A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world.
22 So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.
