There is something we always say at the end
of our prayer- “I pray in Jesus’ name.”
This means that whatever we ask for in Jesus’ name will be answered, as today’s passage says.
However, this does not mean we can use it like a spell to get what we want.
In fact, it can confirm for us whether or not what I am praying for is what Jesus wants.
As we start our 123 prayer today, let us pray “in Jesus’ name” and let today be a precious day in which we discover God’s great plans for us.
Passage: John 14:1-14
13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
