Jesus lowered himself and came down on the earth to show to the children of God how we should live. He didn’t ask for his own glory yet he glorified his Heavenly Fathers name on this land.
We should live as how Jesus lived and taught us. We share the love with our neighbours and our God. When we serve and love each other, the world may persecute us as they do not understand the way we live. But we live for God’s glory, not ours and God gives us strength when we live for him. That is how we win in victory over worldly temptations and mockery
Passage: John 8:48-59
54 Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me.
55 Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word.”
