Through earnest prayer we experience miracles that cannot be done with human knowledge and skills. God uses these miracles as a sign to reveal himself and his glory to unbelievers so that they can be saved. It also gives hope and restoration to believers. However it is not right if we only seek miracles and not his will. Just as Jesus came and practised many miracles so that people would recognise the king and saviour, we must live so that God’s glory is revealed through our lives. We must become christians who evangelise Jesus our saviour.
John 4:43-54
48.Unless you people see signs and wonders,” Jesus told him, “you will never believe.”
49.The royal official said, “Sir, come down before my child dies.” “Go,” Jesus replied, “your son will live.”
50.The man took Jesus at his word and departed.
